What This Site Is

Powerball-Checker.com is an independent informational service. We are not affiliated with the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), Powerball, or any state lottery. We do not sell lottery tickets. We do not collect prize claims. We do not pay out prizes. We provide free tools and information to help players verify tickets, understand odds, and estimate after-tax winnings.

No Guarantees on Data Accuracy

We pull drawing data from public official sources (primarily the New York State Open Data feed) and do our best to keep everything current. However, errors can occur — in our software, in the source feeds, or in transmission. You must always verify any winning ticket with your state lottery before claiming a prize. The information on this site is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any purpose.

Tax Calculator Is Informational Only

Our tax calculator provides rough estimates based on published 2026 federal and state tax rates. It is not tax advice. Real tax outcomes depend on your full financial picture — other income, deductions, filing status, charitable contributions, state of residence at time of claim, and choices that only a qualified CPA or tax attorney can guide. Never make a financial decision based solely on output from our calculator. Consult a professional.

Powerball requires players to be 18 or older in most states, 21 or older in Iowa and Louisiana, and 19 or older in Nebraska. By using our checker or any other tool on this site, you confirm you are of legal age to play Powerball in your jurisdiction. This site is intended for adults.

No Account, No User Content

This site has no user accounts and no user-generated content. Numbers you enter into the ticket checker are processed in real time and not stored. You cannot post, comment, message, or upload anything that persists.

If you use the photo scanner, you are responsible for reviewing the extracted numbers before checking. Browser-based OCR can make mistakes because of glare, folds, low light, unusual fonts, or cropped images. The manual correction step is part of the tool; do not rely on an automated scan without comparing it to the physical ticket.
