About Powerball Checker
Powerball-Checker.com exists because checking a Powerball ticket should take five seconds, not five minutes of fighting through cluttered pages. We built a fast, free, no-signup Powerball utility with results, jackpot context, tax estimates, odds guides, state pages, and responsible ticket-checking tools.
What We Believe
A lottery information site should be quietly useful. It should not demand your email, fingerprint your browser, hide the answer behind interstitials, or make a game of chance feel like a financial plan. Most people who visit this site want a simple answer: what were the numbers, did my ticket win, what is the jackpot, what would taxes look like, and when is the next drawing?
Our job is to answer those questions clearly. We use direct headings, readable tables, plain-language caveats, and internal links that move you to the next practical step. We avoid casino-style hype because Powerball is entertainment with long odds. A useful site should help you understand the game without pushing you toward more spending.
How We Build
The site runs as an edge-rendered Cloudflare Worker with a Hono router. Pages are server-rendered HTML, not a single-page app. We avoid heavy client-side frameworks because speed, accessibility, and crawlability matter for a reference site. The interface uses a light utility design: clear cards, high-contrast text, restrained red accents, and tables that remain usable on mobile.
We cache public pages carefully so visitors receive fast responses while lottery data remains fresh enough for a results and jackpot tool. Where live data is unavailable, pages label estimates rather than pretending to know more than they do. That transparency is part of the product, not a footnote.
Data Sources and Corrections
Drawing data is pulled from official public lottery data sources documented in the project, with local caching to avoid hammering upstream services. State tax estimates come from the project's state data table and tax calculator logic. Tax pages are clearly informational because real filings depend on residence, filing status, deductions, claim structure, timing, and professional planning. A calculator can show a planning range; it cannot replace a CPA or tax attorney.
If you find an incorrect result, outdated tax assumption, broken link, or unclear explanation, send the URL and a source link to corrections@powerball-checker.com. We prioritize factual corrections over feature requests. For major lottery claims, always confirm directly with the state lottery before acting.
Independence and Monetization
Powerball-Checker.com is an independent project. We are not Powerball, not the Multi-State Lottery Association, not a state lottery, and not a claim center. We do not sell tickets, validate tickets officially, or process prize claims. Where sponsored links appear, they must be labeled and must use appropriate search-engine attributes. Sponsored placement never changes the math, odds, or editorial explanation on the page.
The checker itself should remain free and easy to use. We may support the project with clearly disclosed sponsored links or carefully placed ads on reference pages, but we do not place ads in ways that block the answer a visitor came to get.
Accessibility
We design for mainstream U.S. users on phones first. That means large tap targets, readable font sizes, keyboard-focus states, high-contrast text, and pages that do not require app installation. Number balls are visual, but important information is also written in text. Tables are kept simple and scrollable on small screens.
Accessibility is not just a compliance checklist. It improves trust. A person checking a ticket in a store parking lot, on a budget phone, with spotty service, should still be able to get the answer. If you find an accessibility issue, contact us with the device, browser, page URL, and what blocked you.
Who This Site Is For
This site is for occasional players, family members checking a ticket, researchers comparing odds, journalists needing plain context, and anyone who wants lottery information without promotional noise. It is also for people who need reminders that a huge jackpot headline is before taxes, before cash-value choices, and before claim planning.
We include responsible-play resources because a good lottery utility should protect users from confusion and pressure. If playing no longer feels optional, use the 1-800-GAMBLER resources linked in the footer.
For Press and Partnerships
Press inquiries can go to press@powerball-checker.com. Partnership inquiries can go to partners@powerball-checker.com. We are interested in practical tools, accurate data, and user-safe integrations. We are not interested in prediction systems, "guaranteed win" products, or anything that encourages irresponsible play.
Our Promises

- We will fix verified factual errors as quickly as practical.
Get In Touch
Questions, corrections, partnership inquiries, or press requests can start at the contact page. We read messages and route them by category so factual corrections, privacy requests, and business inquiries do not compete in the same inbox.
